Version 4.1.3 ready for release

The latest version of Data Entrée's Foodservice Distribution Software, v. 4.1.3, has been tested and is ready to go. This is an intermediate release and it will only be deployed to those clients who have expressed need for the enhancements it includes, and, of course, any client who request an immediate update.

New features include:

• Added Ship-To address to the Purchase Order - You now have the option of specifying a ship-to address other than your company, so the printed PO will show the alternate address in the Ship To field, thus allowing for drop shipments to customers directly from the vendor.
• Fixed Cost Method added to the inventory file, so pricing can be based on a manually-entered cost amount. Although the Price Brackets and Negotiated Pricing options allowed you to set fixed sell prices, this new option allows you to configure percentage or dollar markup over a cost figure you enter manually rather than having it automatically calculated from pricing on POs.
• Inventory conversions after a physical count will now be posted automatically to a configured default shrink account. The Application calculates the shrink value and creates a journal entry in the Inventory Journal when you convert the system inventory to the physical count.
• The Inventory Verification Report now includes all counted items instead of just those items with non-zero amounts. All counted items need to be included when the report is run for cycle-counted items.
• The Inventory File Maintenance form now allows you to add a second and third vendor for each item. The Vendor Re-Order Reports will now show items for which a given vendor is the second or third vendor, flagging those items as such so it is clear the vendor is not the primary vendor.
• Inventory Activity Query - You can run this query to display all activity within a user-defined date range for a given item. The query shows you all ins and outs, including purchases, sales, inventory transfers and journal entries. The query can also be printed.
• Not one but two warnings will now display before you delete an invoice. Just to make sure.
