Beginning in September 2009 Data Entrée began field testing our new production/processing module at a local meat processing company. Our Production System is an add-on application that integrates directly with our Distribution Software and is designed to track inventory through the production process. Using touch-screen monitors, plant and production staff can transfer raw materials from inventory into the production process. After the production process is complete, finished goods are entered and transfered out of the production process. Using the UCC128 standard, production information such as production date, weight, and case serial numbers are encoded and printed on finished goods labels. Finished goods can be assigned directly to a customer order and random case weights are automatically assigned to the order. We expect to complete field testing late 4th Qtr 2009.
